Dr. Ali Arabnya (a.k.a. Ali Arab) is the Director of Infrastructure Finance & Climate Advisory at Quanta Technology. Previously, he was a research professor of electrical & computer engineering with University of Denver, and a consultant climate economist with World Bank Group in Washington, DC. Prior, he was as Data & Analytics Manager with Protiviti, a global management consulting firm in New York City. Dr. Arabnya also served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance with Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York City. His clientele portfolio includes top-tier global banks, top U.S. investment banks, federal financial and regulatory institutions, a top Canadian bank, a major Swiss financial services firm, and a number of Fortune 500 energy companies. He is the co-author of one book (The Economics of Microgrids) and more than 30 technical papers published in flagship journals and conference proceedings. Ali’s international professional experience includes North America, Middle East, and Southeast Asia regions. He has extensively travelled to all 50 U.S. states which has provided him with a deep understanding of nuances in American culture and local business climates across the country. He is a Senior Member of IEEE’s Power & Energy Society, and holds a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering – Operations Research from University of Houston, Texas.
