Mostafa Ardakani is an associate professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Utah. His research focuses on power systems optimization, power systems resilience, interdependent infrastructure networks, energy economics and policy, and energy justice. Dr. Ardakani holds a Ph.D. degree in Energy Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University as well as a B.S. and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran. Prior to joining the University of Utah, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Arizona State University. Dr. Ardakani is a recipient of 2022 NSF CAREER award.
